Generic human trigeminal scaffold

Generic human trigeminal scaffold

Summary:

The trigeminal nerve receives its name from the three nerves that comprise it: ophthalmic, maxillary and mandibular (cyan, magenta and orange, respectively, in the picture). Fun fact: both the trigeminal nerve and the spinal nerve scaffolds are actually very distorted tube networks!

This scaffold was created as part of the SPARC project, and it is parametrised according to anatomical data, ready to be fit to experimental datasets!
